Terms of Service
Conditions governing use of the EEIT platform and its institutional services
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Eastern European Institute for Trade platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are accessing the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the platform.
Platform Description
The EEIT platform provides trade facilitation intelligence, compliance tools, stakeholder engagement services, and institutional resources for cross-border commerce in the Three Seas region. Certain features are provided as illustrative demonstrations of operational capabilities and are clearly labeled as such. Demo features do not constitute live regulatory, financial, or legal advice.
Permitted Use
The platform is intended for institutional, professional, and governmental use in connection with trade facilitation, compliance, and economic development. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes consistent with its intended function. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary algorithms, data models, or intelligence frameworks from the platform.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform and its contents are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. EEIT makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information, analysis, or recommendation provided through the platform. Trade intelligence, compliance assessments, and risk analyses are provided for informational purposes and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for business, legal, or regulatory decisions.
International Use
The platform serves users across multiple jurisdictions. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations, including but not limited to export controls, sanctions regulations, and data protection requirements. EEIT does not represent that the platform is appropriate or available for use in all jurisdictions.
Institutional Accounts
Certain platform features may require institutional registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials associated with your account and for all activities conducted under your account. You agree to notify EEIT promptly of any unauthorized use. EEIT reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a risk to platform integrity.
Intellectual Property
All content, frameworks, methodologies, and technology on the platform — including but not limited to the ARCS Framework, Helios Protocol, OmniSynth Engine, and V-Framework — are the intellectual property of the Eastern European Institute for Trade or its licensors. No license or right is granted to use any intellectual property except as expressly authorized by these terms or separate written agreement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EEIT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. EEIT's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for access to the platform during the twelve months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Washington, D.C. For questions, contact us through our Contact page.
